Saad Afif

Co-Founder

A proud Roosevelt Island native, Saad Afif seamlessly blends his Moroccan heritage with his American roots, bringing passion and dedication to the game of soccer. Saad's journey began with DUSC and Fa Euro before he ventured to Morocco at 18 for a semi-professional opportunity.

After two years abroad, he returned home to pursue a professional career, ultimately finding success with New Amsterdam Football Club in the NISA league. At just 19, Saad transitioned into coaching while continuing to play, demonstrating his commitment to the sport.

Now a full-time coach with USSF certification, Saad is dedicated to nurturing talent, developing players, and shaping the next generation of athletes.

Leo Folla

Co-Founder

A seasoned coach with over 10 years of experience, Leo Folla combines his diverse Brazilian, Japanese, and Italian heritage with a deep passion for soccer. Born and raised on Roosevelt Island, NYC, Leo honed his skills with top clubs like DUSC and Met Oval before earning scholarships to NCAA Division I schools.

With over 7 years playing professionally in the USL, Leo excels in coaching by offering elite training services. He has also coached at Chattanooga Red Wolves Academy, New Amsterdam Football Club, and United Soccer Club, where he developed players at competitive levels.

Now holding a USSF license, Leo is committed to developing future soccer stars through his unique coaching approach and multicultural perspective.

Ryo Koiso

Technical Director

A Japanese native with a wealth of international experience, Ryo Koiso combines discipline, dedication, and the teachings of Japanese soccer culture to offer a unique coaching perspective. Ryo began his soccer journey at one of Japan’s top academies, securing his first professional contract at 18 with a local club.

After a year, he moved to the US, where he played NCAA Division III and Division II soccer. Ryo’s playing career then took him to Germany and Thailand, broadening his global understanding of the game.

Currently pursuing USSF coaching licenses, Ryo’s experience with the Japanese academy methodology allows him to focus on skill development while providing an enriched overall experience for players.
